Our Governance Committee is the executive arm of our board and sets the course for strategic development, and manages board governance, nominations and recruiting, policy and procedure review, and ad-hoc projects. This committee meets monthly and is chaired by the Secretary of the Board. Membership in this committee is apart of our executive board.

Our Outreach Committee meets monthly and engages passionate community members, business leaders, and the like in efforts to strengthen our mission's impact through fund development, event planning, in-kind contributions and strategic partnerships. This committee weighs in on our mentor recruitment, internship placement programs, leads the charge on increasing community engagement through our events, and supports and champions our fundraising efforts.

Our Finance Committee meets quarterly and reviews and approves our budget, reviews and monitors the audit process, makes financial projections, and stewards and reviews our financial reports. They also advise upon and continually improve our financial policies. The committee is chaired by the Treasurer of the Board.

The Advising, Support, and Knowledge Team is composed of individuals with specialized knowledge in the college admissions arena, who volunteer to support our students by advising them one-on-one in areas such as: career development, financial aid, application and scholarship essay writing, subject tutoring, and more. Volunteers on our ASK Team are required to complete a level-3 background screening and attend our mentor program training, as well.
