Path to College CEO Christine Sylvain featured in palm beach illustrated’s education issue

We’re thrilled to share that our CEO, Christine Sylvain, was featured in the September issue of Palm Beach Illustrated! This special education edition highlights three “Wonder Women” who are shaping the future of learning—and Christine’s story is an inspiring example.

In the article, Christine shares how her personal journey fueled her passion for mentorship. After moving frequently in high school and struggling with the college application process, she recognized the challenges many first-generation students face. Determined to make a difference, she launched Path to College in 2017 to help high-achieving, low-income students gain the skills, support, and confidence they need to attend top-tier universities.

Since its founding, 75% of Path to College students have been accepted into elite schools like Duke, Harvard, and Northwestern, with 100% going on to four-year colleges—many on full scholarships. Christine also discusses the importance of community support, including the recent groundbreaking of the Catapult Youth Mentoring Center, a dedicated space for students to study, receive tutoring, and access mentorship.

We’re so proud to see Christine recognized for her work and excited to keep building opportunities for the next generation of leaders!
