Laurie George, Ph.D., President Chief Executive Officer to the United Way of Palm Beach County, has more than 20 years of c-level experience. Over the past nine years as the CEO of United Way of Palm Beach County, Dr. George has led the organization to a new level of success by raising over $110 Million for the local nonprofit community. UWPBC has become a “go-to source” for reliable information on local nonprofit issues. Continued leadership of a collective impact project with 100+ other stakeholders to alleviate hunger in PBC. The continued focus on working the Hunger Relief Plan has resulted in an increased number of Palm Beach County residents that have access to healthy and affordable food in their community.
Dr. George is a graduate of Leadership Florida Cornerstone Class XXXVI and Leadership Palm Beach County Class of 2003. Dr. George serves on several committees and boards including CareerSource PBC, Economic Council of Palm Beach County, and International Women’s Forum.

Master Path is a Speaker Series intended for personal growth, professional development, and community impact. We are Path to College; we fearlessly clear the path for overlooked students to get into the best colleges with the best scholarships. Our students apply to college at 200% the national average, receive 100% acceptance to and enroll in 4-year universities with 60% receiving admissions to top-tier institutions and 50% acheive full-ride scholarships (others obtain 70-90% tuition coverage). Mentorship plays a foundational role in the success of our program. We believe education is the answer and college is for everyone.
